Help with Jolly Rogue on iPhone, iPad and Android.

How to play

• Move and aim: put your left thumb down anywhere on the left side and drag. Drag up or diagonally to aim that way; drag down to crouch.
• Jump: tap JUMP for a short hop, hold it for a full jump.
• Fire: hold FIRE to keep shooting. Up close, your blade swings on its own.
• Pause: the pause button in the top corner. The game also pauses when you leave the app.

Fight through the beach, the port town, the fort and the man-o'-war; each area's navy sends a boss at the end. Beat it for an extra life and a visit to the Black Market. Gold you pick up goes into your treasure chest when the run ends; spend it in the Captain's Quarters.

Tips

• Crouch under cannonballs. Jump over shockwaves and rolling kegs.
• Down + jump drops you through docks and ledges.
• Every 200 gold in a run is an extra life.

No sound?

• Check the music button in the top corner and tap it if the game is muted.
• Turn the volume up with your device's buttons while the game is open. On iPhone, sound starts after your first tap.

Lost your pirate?

Your pirate, gold and unlocks are saved on your device only, so deleting the app or moving to a new phone starts fresh.
