Privacy policy

Reef Runner is a free game made by Doug Copeland (Websmith). It is built to work without knowing anything about you.
What the game collects
Nothing. The Reef Runner apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and the game at reefrunner.us, do not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no in-app purchases, and the apps do not connect to the internet while you play.
What stays on your device
The game remembers two things, and only on your own device:
- your best score, and
- whether you turned the sound off.
They never leave your device. Deleting the app (or clearing this site's data in your browser) erases them.
Permissions
The apps ask for no permissions: no camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos.
Children
Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
The website
reefrunner.us is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability; see GitHub's privacy statement. The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
